Very Simple Banana Bread Recipe
This recipe is straight to the point, just like we like it. No fancy ingredients or techniques needed. Check it out:
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix mashed bananas, melted butter, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
- Add sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract, stirring until well blended.
- Sift in flour and mix until no more lumps remain.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
