- 1 tsp baking powder

In a separate larger bowl, beat together the mashed bananas and Splenda® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated until well combined. Add in the egg, applesauce, and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the muffins tough.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin tin, filling each about 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
